April 24, 2017: Kaitlyn Evelyn has recently commited to the Kingston Jr Ice Wolves for the upcoming 2017-2018 season but already she is garnering recognition for her goal-tending skills. On Monday, April 24, she was recognized as one of three stars of the day in the Esso Cup, being held in Manitoba. This is Kaitlyn's debut at the Esso Cup where she made 41 saves in her game on Monday, leading her team to its first win of the tournament. The 16 year old from Durham West finished the night with a .976 save perceptage, which put her among the tournament's leaders.
