2016-17 PWHL Coach of The Year
This afternoon, our head coach, Troy Sweet, was awarded Coach of the Year for the 20 team Provincial Women’s Hockey League at a ceremony in Oakville following the gold medal game of the league championships.

This is his first full season as head coach with our team and the PWHL.  This prestigious honour is determined by a vote from all his peers across the league.  This is the first major award for the Jr. Ice Wolves. Troy is loved and respected by his players.  His efforts to recruit top talent from the area, his vast knowledge of hockey and coaching and his tremendous love for the game and for his players has been the driving force for Kingston to move from 20th to 11th place in just one year and has allowed us to earn a spot in the playoffs for the first time in its 5 year history.Congratulations Troy!  Your Jr. Ice Wolves family is very proud of you!
