Goalie Morton in Record Books
Goaltender Whitney Morton stopped all 26 shots directed her way to write herself into the Kingston Jr Ice Wolves record book on Sunday afternoon with her fourth career Provincial Women's Hockey League shutout. 

The Ice Wolves downed the Burlington Barracudas 4-0 and Trenton native Morton posted her second blanking of the season, adding to the two she collected last season. Liz Spinozzi had the previous high of three, registering them all in the 2013-2014 season.The win gave the Ice Wolves a split in their two game road trip, which started Saturday with a 2-1 loss to the Stoney Creek Sabres. Kingston, with a 12-11-2-3 record, sits 11th in league standings. Marissa Murphy, Meghan Jefferies,  Scout Watkins Southward and Megan Breen, all scored goals on Sunday as Kingston outshot Burlington 31-26. On Saturday, Kingston's only goal came from Brianna Gaffney, with 28 seconds left in the thrid period and goaltender Kathryn Jalink on the bench in favour of another attacker. Stoney Creek received single goals from Sarah Nelles in the second period and Olivia Wallin at 5:52 of the third to go up 2-0. Stoney Creek outshot Kingston 32-25. The Ice Wolves embark on their last weekend road trip of the season next weekend when they travel to Barrie and Aurora for games Saturday and Sunday against the Sharks and Panthers, respectively. After those games, the Ice Wolves  have eight games remaining in the regular season, with 7 of them at home.
