Gaffney Selected to Attend OWHA U18 High Performance Camp
Congratulations to Brianna Gaffney, an Alternate Captain and leading scorer of the 2014-15 Kingston Jr. Ice Wolves, on being invited to the OWHA U18 High Performance Summer Development/Tryout Camp in July.
The OWHA is using the U18 High Performance Summer Development/Tryout Camp as part of the criteria for selection to represent Ontario at the U18 National Championship in Huntsville, Ontario. This camp is for OWHA registered players and was by invitation only. Head Coach Brad Heyman was not surprised that Brianna had received an invitation stating "Brianna's talent level and commitment to excellence over her many years in the Ice Wolves' organization is being recognized."The OWHA will select two teams to attend the 2015 - U18 National Championship in Huntsville, Ontario. The teams will be identified as Team Ontario Blue and Team Ontario Red.The U18 National Championships normally take place in November.Good luck Brianna!
