Kingston JRs 10th Anniversary
The Kingston JRs, their families, fans and alumni will be celebrating their 10th anniversay this weekend at their season home-opener on Friday, October 22. It is because of the vision of our early supporters and their passion for women's hockey that we have the incredible program that exists today.
In the 10 years since the team's inception, we have seen it evolve and grow to become PWHL season champions, with alumni on many NCAA Division 1 and CIS teams. A huge shout out to our first team manager, Kim Murphy, and one of the founders, Pat Murphy, who is still involved to this day as the team's VP. We thank both our past and current players who have brought their dedication, commitment and talent to the team and who have worn the K with pride. Finally, special thanks to our coaching staff, alums Shelby Perry and Brenna Murphy, Rob Bunton and head coach, Troy Sweet. Congratulations to the entire Kingston JR family, past and present.
